JANUARY 2023
A new live stream webcam has been installed in Lage, showing a view of the Marktplatz. This is an initiative from "Stadtmarketing Lage". The webcam can be viewed on this page https://www.lage.online/stadtmarketing-verein.html by scrolling down.

SEPTEMBER 2022
A number of events for the national annual "Tag des offenen Denkmals" ("Open Monuments Day") will be taking place in Lage. These include a behind the scenes tour of the railway station, a guided tour of the town with the theme "Water in Lage" and a visit to the half-timbered house at Plaßstraße 1. The nationwide Open Monuments Day has been organised by the German Association for Monument Protection since 1993. (Full story - in German)

MAY 2022
The starting gun has been fired for STADTRADELN 2022. The 21 day "Town Pedal" competition aims to see participants swapping car journeys for enviromentally friendly cycling. Individuals or teams can register on-line and collect kilometers for Lage each time they cycle instead of use the car. The results will be published on the STADTRADELN website allowing comparisons between towns, and between teams in each town. (Full story - in German)
